The great news is that no matter where you are on your journey, after you take this first step, you will be a ninja to someone else. Here is where you begin to really learn, and let your ninja-ness shine.

There’s just one requirement: Bring your laptop! (plus your Username and Password if you already have a WordPress site set up)

The WordPress Beginners Friday Workshop will be divided into 2 parts. In the morning, we’ll go through the basic components of websites and how to make smart choices around them. A few of the things we’ll discuss are:

• What is a domain name and where to buy them
• What is a hosting account and why you might need one
• What are themes and plugins
• How to navigate the dashboard
• What’s a widget
• How to keep your site updated

The afternoon session will be broken into 3 mini-sessions.

• A deeper dive into the intro topics, with a Q and A to address your specific issues
• Themes and page builders
• Basic site issues you need to know about

A team of WordPress specialists will be on hand to guide you throughout the day. More experienced beginners will be seated with those just getting started, so we can all help each other.

You will come away from this session not only with answers and knowledge but also with the framework and confidence to attack the next level of challenges.
